My Fair Lady and her birthday

Last Friday was Karen's birthday. It was a busy weekend. I did not get much done around the house.

For Karen’s birthday, I took her to see My Fair Lady at the Paramount Theater in Seattle (http://www.theparamount.com/artists/?artist=649). It was a fun show, now on tour some other place, not sure where. If I heard correctly, much of the lead cast are British; a good thing as the story hinges on the varied accents of the King’s English (for the time). I am glad Karen and I saw the show, the seats were great, main-floor, 13th row, center aisle seats. Karen wants to get the movie on Netflix, which is another good sign that she enjoyed the show. I think I did alright on the birthday plans.

Friday is also my nephew’s birthday. He turned four. Kaitlin spent the night at her aunt’s house with her cousins. Karen and I spent Saturday there to celebrate our nephew’s birthday. We did not leave until late in the evening. It was a pleasant weekend with the extended family.

Long weekend, not enough sleep.
