From my previous web journal on Sept. 11, 2002, I wrote,
"Remember those who have died. Do not let our freedoms die with them, or those who are responsible for their deaths will have killed more than our family and friends; but win the war even if they lose all future battles."
Sadly, not much has really been done. We have restricted our own freedoms, succumbing to fear in our society. Our freedom is perhaps the largest threat to the Islamist radicals that perpetrated the attack. It is the power of our cultural weapons of mass distraction which created the greatest fear among our enemies and we have allowed ourselves to give to fear in the name of political correctness.
