Sick, without much to add

by Terry 9/28/2008 4:50:00 PM

I drove to the office Thursday morning for a meeting. By the end of the meeting, around 1130 hrs, I felt the burning itch in my throat. I knew I was coming down with a head cold. What I could not believe is how fast and furious it would hit me. By late Thursday night I had a fever. By Friday night it broke. I have been in bed most of the time since, although I thought I was basically past it all last night (Saturday) and had dinner and a game of Mexican train with friends.

Today I realize that was as mistake. On this fourth day, I have periodic dry coughs that leave me with feeling like my head is being peeled off.

Now, for me, back to bed. At least I have books to read.
